From the junction of the B6004 (Oxclose Lane) in Arnold, follow brown tourist signs to the SE entrance of Bestwood Country Park. Note that this is the "Bestwood Lodge Hotel" entrance and *NOT* the NW entrance to the park by the old colliery in Bestwood Village SK571463 Parking in the tarmac car park is limited and overflow parking in the nearby housing estates inconvenient for both orienteers and residents.
