In public car park at Broad Street, Cuckfield, with overflow on local streets if required. No fees due at the time of the event. There are toilets at the car park, but not sure if will be open as no "opening times" are shown. The car park is in the centre of Cuckfield Village, just off the High street / Broad Street junction. Easiest access is by turning off the A272 at the roundabout at the west end of the "Cuckfield By-pass". This road wiggles at it enters the high street and when you start to go up the hill turn right into Broad Street. Car Park almost immediately on the right.
60 minute score, about 30 controls. New 1:10,000 map, no Contours. Competitors will need a pen, torch and watch. No control flags, answer the questions on the clue sheet. The area is a mixture of urban, public open spaces and woodlands, and connecting footpaths & bridleways, some of which may be muddy! Footware with decent grip is recommended. Each control worth 10 points, 10 points deducted for incorrect answers, 20 points deducted for each minute late back (IE 1 point per 3 seconds late).
