Peter Palmer Relays
The Peter Palmer relay is named after one of orienteering’s finest coaches, who wanted to create an event that was similar to the relays that take place in Scandinavia. This event is one of the most enjoyable with clubs fielding mixed relay teams of six girls and boys.
Junior Inter Regional Championships
The twelve regions of the United Kingdom compete against each other in an individual and a relay event. The top two runners from each region in the individual event and the top two boys and girls relay teams count towards a total score to determine the Regional Champions. The age groups are M/W14, M/W16 and M/W18.
Future Champions Cup (FCC)
The event is intended to provide an equivalent type of event to the Junior World Championships. Competitors in age classes M/W18 and M/W20 compete in a series of qualification races. The top 15 from each class then compete in the Future Champions Cup Final.
Information on the 2008 FCC races can be found here.

Junior World Orienteering Championships (JWOC)
JWOC is the pinnacle of a junior athlete’s career. Athletes compete against each other to be crowned Junior World Champion in a sprint, middle, long and relay race.
