| Description: | The ultra-long courses will use Hutton and Guisborough Woods, adjoining moorland and Roseberry Common. This includes:- well-contoured, mainly coniferous, woodland with some detailed areas of mining remnants and a good path network, and open moorland with some bracken and self-seeded areas. The courses will be planned to avoid areas of seasonal vegetation Toilets at the car park. First Aid and water at the Finish. | Course description: | There will be four ultra-long courses (all TD5), with the following approximate lengths: >> Long 18+ km >> Short Long 12 km >> Short Medium 8 km >> Short 4 - 5 km There will be White, Yellow and Orange courses. There will also be ultrasprint courses near Registration to run in addition to your main course. Competitors on the ultra-long courses should be self-sufficient in food and drink, and should dress suitably for prevailing weather conditions. Map: 1:10,000 scale. 5m contours.
