Description:Lea Valley Country Park is a flat area with a mixture of open and rough grassland with a few pockets of woodland and a good path network and is intersected by the River Lee Navigation. There are numerous lakes within the park providing some interesting route choices.

Courses

Course description:This forest event includes courses suitable for a range of abilities. The White and Yellow courses are suitable for beginners and younger juniors, Orange and Light Green for older juniors and adult beginners wanting a more challenging course. The Green and Blue courses have the greatest level of difficulty, with the Blue providing the longest course lengths. These two courses are aimed at experienced orienteers. The event also counts towards South West Essex Local League (Round 5) for 2013/14. This is an individual league open to all with the best five events counting.
