Parking information: | Parking and registration will be at the Christmas Tree car park above Hutton Village near Guisborough. The grid reference is NZ 604135 and the nearest postcode is TS14 8EP. From the A171, turn south – signposted Great Ayton – on to the A173 at the roundabout north-west of Guisborough. Take the first left on to Stokesley Road, go up and over a slight hill, and then turn right on to The Avenue at grid reference NZ 595154. Where the road takes a 90 degree bend to the left (and becomes Hutton Lane), turn right towards Hutton Village. Follow the road round through Hutton Village, through a gate and up a hill into the woods. At the top of a hill, turn left to the car park. Please drive considerately through Hutton Village and ensure that you leave the gate shut when arriving and leaving. Car share if possible. |

Description: | There will be two score courses: >> Course A – 60 minute score. >> Course B – 40 minute score. Note: In a score event there is no pre-defined sequence of controls to be visited. The aim is to collect as many points as possible by visiting controls in any order that you choose. You lose points if you take longer than the specified time limit, so deciding which controls to visit in which order is an important element of the event. There will also be "beginners" courses (White / Yellow standard – classic 'cross country' format, not score). Sorry, there will not be a string course at this event |
