| Parking information: | Parking Parking will be in a farm field adjacent to the Wellhill entry to Culbin Forest. The field will be flat and well-drained with the final choice of field being decided nearer to the event depending on crop harvesting and recent weather conditions. Both options are just outside the forest with only a short walk to the main forest parking. There will be an area of hard standing for motorhomes – please contact the organiser if you plan to bring one. There will be a charge of £1 for parking on both days. Competitors who have mobility problems can park in the main forest carpark and will be liable for normal Forestry Commission parking fees. |

Details
| Description: | Terrain notes Culbin East is an orienteer's dream: a vast area of sand dunes featuring complex contour detail, cloaked with pine forest of varying openness and runnability. The longest courses will visit a newly-mapped area which is both physically and technically challenging, whilst all TD5 courses will explore some unfamiliar areas of the forest. Junior courses (white/yellow/orange) are in a separate but adjacent area, with a network of narrow paths though open, heathery forest. Adults are allowed to shadow their young juniors before competing themselves |
