Description:The event will form part of SOS Winter Mid-Week Street O’ League. Points will be awarded based on finishing time adjusted using a handicap system. Each missed/incorrect control will have 5 minute penalty. Best 4 results from the series will count. Full details will be published on the SOS website. You will need a head or hand held torch. Some paths may be unlit. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult. Bring clothing and footwear appropriate for the weather conditions. As with any street orienteering this requires participants to cross roads and you are asked to take due care and attention at all times. High visibility clothing is strongly recommended. There may be dog walkers, cyclists or residents using the pavements and footpaths – be aware.

Course description:Long course 5.0km approx.  Short course 2.5km approx.  The shortest running route will be a little longer. The controls are fire hydrant signs. You will be asked to record the lower number on the hydrant sign. Please bring a pen or pencil and map bag if it is wet.
