| Description: | Terrain: Technically challenging but runnable terrain under mixed woodland of wide variety. We have mature beech, pine and larch. Open areas with heather and shrubs. No crags but may be damp in places. ..........Cagoules and whistles may be compulsory......... Map: 1:10,000 scale. Printed on waterproof paper. .....................................................Safety: Please make sure that you download. LONE DRIVERS: Please leave your labelled car keys at Registration. CLOK strongly recommends that you carry a whistle whilst participating in this (and every) orienteering event. Please remember that competitors take part at their own risk. Dog walkers, horse riders and cyclists may be in the area. Orienteering is an adventure sport in wild terrain.
