| Description: | Low-key Saturday morning event aimed at local Orienteers and newcomers of all ages, including families. Forms part of the SO autumn league (September-January). 4 courses - Blue & Green for experienced Orienteers (approx 6km & 4km), Orange & Yellow for newcomers, families & children (approx 2.5km & 1.5km). Turn up and enter on the day - no pre-booking required. |

| Course description: | Map: Scale: 1:7500 5m contours updated autumn 2016. Terrain: Mixed runnability woodland with prominent main tracks and many minor paths. Areas of significant ground detail, including some deep pits resulting from ancient flint mining. The area is gently undulating, rising gradually from South to North. Nettles and brambles in many parts, but these should be dying back. |
