All under 16s should be accompanied by an adult between parking and registration. Public transportation is encouraged: The U1 bus runs from the city centre and stops within 200m of registration. Get off on Parrys Lane and walk south-east 50m to the entrance to Wills Hall.
Dog rules:Dogs, under the control of an adult, are permitted on leads but any mess must be cleaned up.

Details

Description:Part of BOK's Urban Orienteering Series, held most Wednesday evenings from Spring to early Summer. Short, Medium and Long courses offered at each event. Best 7 results on each course score for league trophies, with separate male and female competitions. Juniors (under 16) must be accompanied by a responsible adult if running the Long or Medium; the Short is entirely off road and Juniors can run unaccompanied.

Courses

Course description:A mixture of residential roads, paths, and the university campus. Grassy slopes may be slippery if it has been raining. Road shoes and running shorts are suitable. Map: Long and Medium, 1:4,000 scale with 5m contours size A3. Short: 1:4,000 scale with 5m contours size A4. Updated by Lawrence Jones, Peter Dobra and Dan Weaver 2019. Waterproof with courses overprinted. Loose control descriptions will also be available. Newcomers are advised to familiarise themselves with uncrossable features and out of bounds symbols.
