Parking information:Train : The Start/Finish is 20 mins walk from Nailsea & Backwell Station Bus: X9 service to Nailsea takes ~30 min from Bristol Bus Station. Cycling : Nailsea can be reached from Bristol using NCN 33 Central Nailsea is well served by parking and competitors are advised to use the Station Road Car Park BS48 1AW, W3W skin.trout.funny. Parking is generally free but competitors should check any specific restrictions. Please do not park at the Scotch Horn Leisure Centre. Start/Finish/Download is located is Millennium Park (W3W guess.claims.grow , BS48 1BZ) just behind the Scotch Horn Leisure Centre. Leave the Station Road Car Park on the east side, use the Zebra Crossing and go down the right hand/south side of the Leisure Centre to Millennium Park. There is a shelter at Download where bags may be left.
Dog rules:Well behaved dogs allowed on a lead.

Details

Description:Part of BOK's Urban Orienteering Series, held most Wednesday evenings from Spring to early Summer. Short, Medium and Long courses offered at each event. Best 7 results on each course score for league trophies, with separate male and female competitions. Under-16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult on the Medium and Long courses. The Short course avoids busy roads with the exception of the ‘Nailsea Park’ road where there is a compulsory Pelican Crossing but parents may wish to accompany juniors on this course. Competitors will punch the control at the Pelican Crossing twice (out and back). The Scotch Horn Leisure centre has Toilets and a Café. The Royal Oak, 43 High St is 2 minute walk from both the event and the parking. It’s dog friendly with a beer garden and serves food. A First aider will be in attendance.
