Details

Description:Part of BOK's Local event series, scoring towards Club Senior League and Junior League. Map: • 1:10,000 scale with 5m contours (The Green and Blue Courses will have a section on a 1:2,500 scale. • Drawn by Paul Gebbett in 2022. • Waterproof size A4 with courses overprinted. • Loose control descriptions will also be available. Map Notes Large and/or distinct rootstocks are mapped with a Green Cross Only large or distinct hides (mapped with a Black Cross) are mapped Mountain bike tracks are mostly mapped as indistinct paths. Many of these are now quite distinct and new paths do have a habit of appearing without warning. There are some areas where clearing has occurred, leaving some brashings. These are shown with the Green Hash Undergrowth Symbol. There is an area of downhill mountain tracks which are not individually mapped and this area is shown with a purple boundary on the map – take extra care in this area (only likely on the Blue and Green courses). This will be shown on a map in the start lane. The start is 450m from car parking and the route will be marked with red and white tape. The Finish is 450m from the car park, again the route will be taped. The route to start and finish is the same and crosses Old London Road – the crossing will be manned. PLEASE REMEMBER TO GO TO DOWNLOAD WHICH WILL BE LOCATED IN THE SCOUT HUT.
