Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme (TASS)
British Orienteering has had 21 nominations accepted for the 2009/10 Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme (TASS).
TASS is a Government funded programme that represents a unique partnership between sport and Higher, and Further Education institutions. The programme facilitates service provision to talented athletes that are committed to combining their sport and education.
Each athlete will receive a comprehensive package of support including strength and conditioning, physiotherapy, lifestyle Support, screening and medical scheme and access to coaching, sport science, nutrition and psychology services.
Each athlete is linked to a TASS Hub Institution from which the majority of support services are delivered.

Winning Students
Winning Students is a national sports scholarship scheme supporting students competing in high performance sport. Led by the University of Stirling and supported financially by the Scottish Funding Council, it creates a sports performance network of colleges and universities in Scotland.
