Timed to coincide with World Orienteering Day, the relay will take place in the heart of the Finnish city of Turku. With around 30 teams competing, the racing will be fast, furious and exciting. You can follow all the action here.

The LIVE orienteering broadcast will offer expert commentary by David Brickhill-Jones for the Sprint Relay, and Mikko Reitti for the Sprint, Middle and Long Distance.
Tickets are available for purchase using PayPal directly on the Live Orienteering website and will cost 4€ to watch each race, but a special offer means you can watch all of the races for 12€! The payment is linked to the LIVE Orienteering user and only this user will be able to access the premium content and only one device can be logged on to the same user simultaneously.
A new format has been introduced for the first round of the World Cup and continues tomorrow with the Sprint Qualification and Sprint Final before moving onto the middle distance on Saturday and finishing with a chasing start long distance on Sunday. The chasing start will be based on the combined results of the Sprint Qualification and the Middle Distance and the first athlete to finish on the Long Distance will be the overall winner of Round 1, claiming 800€ prize money.
