Great start to the MTBO World Cup season for Emily Benham

The mountain bike orienteering (MTBO) World Cup 2017 season started this weekend, with a series of three races in Zwettl, Austria. Great Britain's Emily Benham had a superb start to the season, finishing second in the Middle Distance race on Saturday, and then winning both the Sprint race on Sunday and the Long Distance race today! As defending champion, these results give Emily a commanding early lead in the World Cup series, where the best eight scores out of ten races will be counted. GBR's other rider in the World Cup series, Clare Dallimore, finished 13th in the Middle distance and 9th in the Long, placing her 19th overall.
