Orienteers start to plan their route to the Northern Championships Weekend

Northern Championships Weekend Urban (UKOL)

Urban Event Thirsk Town Race
Hosted by Humberside and Lincolnshire Orienteers.

Northern Championships event (UKOL)
Long distance race at Wass, Thirsk.

Organiser Mike Ridealgh for the Northern Championships event (UKOL) Long distance race at Wass, said:

"Wass is a fairly steep sided set of valleys, with some very runnable sections in places. 

From the point of view of the organising team, Wass presented us with interesting challenges, which we believe we have successfully overcome. We are looking forward to welcoming competitors on Sunday and hope that everyone has an enjoyable and successful day."


British Orienteering would like to take this opportunity to wish all members attending the Northern Championships this weekend a great two days of orienteering in the beauty of Yorkshire. Thank you to all volunteers from EBOR, HALO and supporting clubs who have given their time in preparing for these events.  Fingers crossed for kind weather!

 

These two races form part of the UK Orienteering League.
