2019 National Coaching Conference - have you booked your place yet?

The 2019 national coaching conference is on the horizon and we caught up with Hilary Palmer to find out what’s in store and if you’ve not booked on yet, why you should.

Q: 2019’s conference has a very interesting agenda, how did you manage to bring it all together?

Hilary: "Various people helped with ideas and contacts and, fortunately, everyone who was asked to do a session agreed! Past feedback shows that attendees also want plenty of time to chat informally and pick up coaching ideas from others so the programme has breaks to allow for socializing."

Q: You’ve been really fortunate to secure an excellent keynote speaker in Emil Wingstedt, what excites you about his speech?

Hilary: "Emil is a world class orienteer who’s also a coach.  It will be really interesting to hear his ideas on coaching for sprint orienteering. His talk will be followed by what I’m sure will be a very good practical session from Ant Squire and Paul Taylor showcasing some coaching tips which they have used with their squads."

Q: Why do you think this conference is so valuable for coaches across the country to attend?

Hilary: "I always come away from the coaching conference re-enthused by the ideas I’ve heard and determined to try new things in the coaching I do."

Book before 18th November to get the early bird price of £65 for both days or one day for just £35.
