Between September and October, 2019 British Orienteering has been working with affiliated clubs to better understand the participant experience at Local and Regional events. During this period 5 events were surveyed from 3 clubs, and 140 people responded to the survey.
We are once again pleased to report that the events were well received with an average rating of 4.5 stars and 95% of respondents indicating they are Highly Likely to recommend these events to friends and/or colleagues.
Technical & Physical Challenges, Area & Terrain and Map & Course were most cited as the best part of the events, with comments including:
A heartfelt thank you to all the participants who took the time to complete the survey and leave their feedback. Your responses are being used to help improve future events for others and inform development projects and support at both club and national level. A big well done to all the CLARO, SARUM & HALO volunteers whose dedication and warm welcome has made these events such a great experience for those involved.
