Nokian Tyres World Orienteering Championships 2020 postponed and changes to other International Events

This was due to the uncertainty about the development of the Corona Virus (Covid -19) outbreak and being able to guarantee broad participation and fairness of the competitions.

There are several alternative dates being considered and the information will be shared as soon as it becomes available.

The Selection Races, scheduled to be held on the 30 - 31 May will be postponed correspondingly, with future dates to be announced.

There will be a final decision about whether this event can be organised in October and this will be made at the latest by 1 August 2020.
  • Junior World Orienteering Championships 2020 scheduled for Turkey 28 June - 2 July. The decision about holding the event on the planned dates will be made at the latest 30 April. Contingency planning is ongoing to postpone JWOC to dates later in 2020.
