Congratulations to the following athletes who have been selected to represent Great Britain at this competition, based in Neuchâtel, Switzerland from 13-16 May.

Particular congratulations to Thomas Wilson, who will make his debut in the senior GB team.

All four named athletes will compete in the Individual Sprint and Knock-Out Sprint disciplines.

Each nation is also entitled to field one team in the Mixed Sprint Relay discipline.

British Orienteering aims to send a GB team to all major international competitions, including the European Orienteering Championships. It is very disappointing that we are unable to field a full team on this occasion, as unfortunately many of our elite athletes find themselves prevented from travelling to this competition due to the local laws and government restrictions that apply in their place of residence. We hope they are able to travel and compete again very soon.

Should the availability situation for athletes currently prohibited from travelling unexpectedly change prior to the competition, the selectors will consider any possible additions to the team.
