Job Vacancy – British Orienteering Project Officer

This is an exciting opportunity working at British Orienteering in the Development Team responsible for developing the sport in areas of high deprivation in England through the use of GPS orienteering.

In this role, the candidate will lead and manage projects in identified areas across England aimed at expanding the opportunities to engage in the sport of orienteering with new community groups and provide more inclusive orienteering environments.

We are looking for someone who can be innovative and creative in developing initiatives together with a wide range of partners and stakeholders, including Active Partnerships, School Sport Partnerships, schools, orienteering clubs and special interest groups.

This is a demanding, varied and rewarding role. If you are committed to the positive benefits of sport and access to the outdoors to all, we would like to hear from you.
