Orienteers get ready to spring into action at British Orienteering Championships this weekend!

The Long-Distance Championships will be taking place on Saturday 26 March in Golden Valley and Cognor Woods, and the following day (Sunday 27 March) the British Relay Orienteering Championships will be on Iron Hill & Parkgate Rough.

Two TrailO events will also be taking place during this Championship weekend.

Who will be crowned the Champions?

Helen Errington and Andrew Evans (SEOA Joint Weekend Coordinators) say:
“We are very much looking forward to welcoming over 1300 orienteers to West Sussex for a weekend of top orienteering in what is increasingly looking likely to be weather sufficiently warm to sit outside with your food and drink purchases from our traders or your own provisions.”

Full details for the British Orienteering Championships are available here.

British Orienteering would like to take this opportunity to thank all individuals and clubs involved in organising the British Orienteering Championships and say a huge thank you for all their dedication, hard work, and determination in making this event happen.  Fingers crossed that this spell of glorious sunny weather continues and lasts throughout the weekend.  Safe journeys all.
