Coast and Islands 2022...orienteering adventure on the west coast of Scotland

Do you fancy a week-long orienteering adventure on the west coast of Scotland?  Using seven areas never before used for orienteering? With low-key organisation and plenty of time to explore or just lie on the beach?
Then Coast and Islands 2022 could be for you!

Coast and Islands started in 2021 to take orienteering to one of the most beautiful parts of the UK and somewhere orienteering has hardly touched - the west coast of Scotland. Last year, the event travelled from Lochinver in the north to Skye in the south.  Check out this video from Day 2.

This year it's back! With four days on the Kintyre Peninsula and two days on the Isle of Arran. There is set to be a big variety of orienteering on offer ranging from complex contours and rock detail in a runnable forest to a sprint in the gardens of a castle. The three forest areas on Kintyre are amongst some of the best terrains in the UK, amazing how they've never been mapped before!
