Live University Webinar

Are you involved in running your University Orienteering Club? Would you like new ideas to grow your club and find out more ways to get out orienteering? Or are you heading to university and want to know how to set up your own club? Then look no further than our live webinar for University clubs next week.

On Tuesday 10 September at 2pm, Georgia Jones of Exeter University Orienteering Club provides insight about how they set up their club, how they’ve promoted and grown their members, alongside some exciting event information coming up this year that everyone can get involved with.

With the start of the new university year soon upon us, now is a great time for clubs to refresh their approach. With thousands of students across the country on the look out for the next new thing to try, it’s more important than ever for clubs to think what will work best for them and how you can stand out from the crowd to maximise the chance for new members.

Orienteering at university offers an excellent opportunity for people to try something new, keep fit and meet new people during their studies. However, it also provides a route to get involved in a sport that is so accessible away from their studies.

Long term, if you’re at a university without a club, this webinar can help you get started with some ideas of what you need to do. The development team are also on hand to support any orienteers who are looking to set up a new club, as well as those already established.
