
Bob Beresford, a key figure in Thames Valley Orienteering Club since 1992, has led the club’s mapping efforts with outstanding dedication.
Despite recent health challenges, he continues producing and updating high-quality maps, pioneering the use of LIDAR, mentoring others, and shaping TVOC’s mapping strategy. His commitment and leadership are truly exceptional and inspirational.

Simon is awarded the Chichester Trophy for the Ashridge North Map. He produced a very clear, good-looking map with excellent cartography. Path junctions were good, with a very few less-than-minimum size vegetation areas.

Graham Gristwood, Forth Valley Orienteers, is awarded the Silva Trophy for his map designed for the World Orienteering Championships 2024 (Sprint and Knock-out Sprint Finals).

Rudi Paul created the detailed Glasgow City Centre map from scratch in early 2024, covering 3.5 km² of complex urban terrain.
Used for the Glasgow City Race and STAG training, it balances legibility and precision, overcoming significant mapping challenges to produce a high-quality, versatile resource for orienteering in central Glasgow.
