Thanks to Forth Valley Orienteers, Tayside Orienteers, and St. Andrew's Glasgow Orienteering Club/Edinburgh Southern Orienteering Club for help with areas and maps, and to Jon Cross and the Duguids family for help with planning and hanging.
There were 7 training sessions on offer over three days, leading into the double header weekend with the Masterplan Adventure Elite relay and Forth Valley Orienteers SOL. The sun shone, people found a lot of controls, and finalised preparations for the JK and the spring season.
GB athlete, Mairi Eades said there was a “Nice relaxed style camp but with good fun and technical training. Great for some last-minute fine-tuning before the JK.”
James Hammond, from GB's Development Squad added: "It was wonderful to have some high-quality hung training on some beautiful and challenging terrain all in time for the JK."
“It was a fab course, with amazing weather and great company” said Alison Smithard (FVO)
And Thomas Laraia (EUOC) said: "I thought it was a good local camp with similar quality training to what I'd expect at a winter training camp abroad, so that's excellent on a budget."
