SiEntries

SiEntries was established in 2008 and it was first used to take entries for the Lowe Alpine Mountain Marathon. Since then it has been developed to support a large number of sports and has a full-time software development team.  It was the first online entry system for orienteering events that provided an interface for users of mobile phones. More than 70% of entries are now made on mobile devices and with this in mind, development has focused on providing a clean and easy to use mobile interface.

SiEntries is a team of six based in Cumbria, UK and all of the team take part in and organise sporting events.

Fabian4

Established in 2004, Fabian4 is now the longest-serving provider of online entry services for orienteering in the UK. Their first event was Croeso 2004.

Fabian4 are a small company with two permanent staff members, both of whom orienteer.  The Company Director, Adrian Moir, was occasionally selected to represent Wales at the SHI/VHI but unfortunately is now going slower due to a dodgy left knee!  Ellie Salisbury, Marketing and Administration Assistant, is a long standing fell runner and mountain biker, who has also represented Wales, and she has recently taken up orienteering too and has progressed to Orange.

As a racing team, they are proud to have completed more than 100 mountain marathons together in the UK, Iceland and the Alps, achieving a podium finish in most of these. They take similar pride and personal satisfaction in providing a quality, competitive service to help make your event a success.

  • Operate a highly configurable, mobile responsive entry system, catering for local level D events up to level A and multiday events including British Orienteering Championships and JK Orienteering Festival (plus Relays with separate team declaration).
  • A seeded start time allocation service is available for a small fee as well as perhaps the most user-friendly self-select start time service available from UK providers at no charge. This works in a similar manner to booking a seat on an airline where you can visualise all the spare slots for the whole family at one time.
