| Parking information: | Parking and Assembly are at the Clevedon School Sports Centre, Valley Road, Clevedon BS21 6AH. https://what3words.com/aside.town.gates The entry to Valley Road is off the B3124 Clevedon to Portishead Road. Signed to ‘Sports Centre’. Please park in the school car park or in the overflow area as directed. Entry on the Day, dibber hire and download will all be located in the Gym (the route to the entrance should be signposted). Toilets are in an adjacent building. Please remove dirty shoes before entering the building after your run (no spikes in the building please). The car park is about a 750m (60m climb) walk from the start and finish which are within 150m of each other. Please take care, follow tapes and only cross the B3124 at the pelican crossing opposite All Saints Church at https://what3words.com/assets.waters.stores. Please note: The crossing will not be marshalled. Although there is a pavement and formal pelican crossing point from car park to the start, all Juniors should be accompanied to the start and from the finish by a parent/ other responsible adult because it involves crossing a potentially busy road (the B3124/Walton Road). Entry to the woods is adjacent to All Saints Church car park and from there a steep path will be signed to the pre-start area. There will not be a clothing dump. The Finish is close to the Start. |
| Dog rules: | Dogs must be kept under control at all times and orienteers may very well encounter dogs on the courses as the area is popular with dog walkers and sensible behaviour around dogs is advised. Competitors may compete with dogs on a lead. Please remember to collect & dispose of any poo responsibly. Dogs are not allowed into any of the school or sports centre buildings or playing fields. |
