Details

Description:This is a local orienteering event suitable for both newcomers and experienced orienteers. The hill is a wooded area offering some fast running with some steep slopes. All courses include the adjoining Victoria Park with grass areas and scattered trees. The longest course includes a section in the neighbouring residential area. The area is mostly very runnable and makes good practice for map reading and decision-making on the run. All courses involve some climb!

Course description:All courses include park area. Yellow - suitable for beginners: Orange -slightly harder navigation: Green- medium hard/ includes urban residential section. Juniors will have to be shadowed in this area. Full leg cover is advised. Some areas will be steep and maybe slippy. Please check the weather and wear suitable clothing
