Description:	"Peter Palmer" Relay (6 legs) starts at 5am, "Daybreak Bowl" (4 legs) starts at 6:30am. Map Details updated for this event at 1:7,500 with 5m contours. Terrain Description - Most courses will be located within the Scout Camp which is forested with a good path network. The Green course will head out onto Ashdown Forest which contains a network of grassy rides and heathland. Course guidance - Peter Palmer Team Relay: Lap 1 4.5 – 5.0 km 100-150m climb Red, Lap 2 4.5 – 5.0 km 100-150m climb Red, Lap 3 4.0 – 4.5 km 150-200m climb Light Green, Lap 4 2.5 – 3.0 km 100-150m climb Orange, Lap 5 2.0 – 2.5 km 50-100m climb Yellow, Lap 6 5.0 – 5.5 km 200-250m climb Green. Course description:	Broadstone Warren is a large area of woodland, which steadily slopes down from South to North and has a number of steep-sided stream valleys. Runnability varies considerably at this time of year - there are huge areas of deep bracken which have dictated where the courses can't go. These are indicated by the closely spaced undergrowth symbol. The wider spaced undergrowth symbol tends to be light bramble or rougher forest (fallen timber, etc). The courses are steered around the most runnable parts of the area, sometimes with the help of mapped footpaths, but expect to still find some areas of bracken, bramble and fallen trees.
