| Description: | Summer Challenge Orienteering Event - Mooragh Park & Promenade, Ramsey. Individual Timed Event. 3 Courses to choose from (Short / Medium / Long) of different distances & number of markers to visit. Navigate in order to each control flag marked on the map, as written on the description sheet, whilst choosing the best route to get to each control flag. Pin-punch your scorecard to prove that you have visited each control flag on your course. Various Categories - SOLO: male / female / youth. GROUP: adult / family / youth. Note: Participants undertaking the Long course who expect to take over 120 mins should select an early start time. Registration, Start & Finish area is located on the grass area beside the children’s play area & car park at the North end of Mooragh Park Lake (signposted from car park). Registration time: 9:30am - 10:20am. Individual START times from 9:30am - 10:30am. Participants must return to the finish by 12:30pm at the latest even if they do not complete their course. |
