There are two forest track entrances off the road and you can park in the verge on the left hand side when coming down from Brierley village. Parking will be tight so please share transport where possible. Signed from the A4136 in Brierley village.
Dog rules:	Please keep your dog under control in all areas. Please be aware that there are wild boar in the area if you take your dog on the course with you.

Description:	1 Hour night score event. 1 point lost for each 6 seconds or part there-of over the hour. Bonuses at the same rate if you get all the controls under the hour. All competitors take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety. ‘No whistle, no go’ will be in force. You need to have a spare light for night events. In the event of bad weather cagoules may be compulsory. Please come prepared.

Course description:	Typical forest of dean woodland. A mix of coniferous and deciduous plantation spread over some fairly steep valley sides. There are areas of old workings and mining spoil tips that add more intricate contour details. The slopes can be particularly slippery when wet. The main valley stream should only need to be crossed on bridges. There is an area on the base of the main valley that is OOB and fenced off where beavers have been released. There are a number of side stream that you may need to cross. One in particular may be problematic in case of torrential rain just before the event. You will be advised how to avoid this when starting if it is a serious issue.
