Overflow parking is available by following road through to the left of the Tennis Centre / tennis courts. Please drive carefully as orienteers may be running around/through this area. If the car parks are full, there is plenty of parking on nearby residential roads on and off Coombe Lane. Please park responsibly. |
| Dog rules: | Dogs (other than guide dogs) are not permitted on the Coombe Dingle Sports Complex site. Therefore, it will unfortunately not be possible to take part in this event with a dog. |
Details
| Description: | Part of BOK's Urban Series, held most Wednesday evenings from late April to early July. Short, Medium and Long courses available. Best 6 results on each course score for series prizes, with separate male and female competitions. For this event there is a separate 'Junior Sprint' course. Juniors (under 16) may only participate in the Junior Sprint course (which is confined to the Coombe Dingle Sports Complex) and Short course (which also includes nearby Canford Park). Neither course involves road crossings. |

Courses
| Course description: | Urban footpaths, residential streets and playing fields. Road shoes suitable unless there is wet weather before the event. The Short and Junior courses are accessible to pushchairs, though involves some rough paths and grassy areas and some gates (not kissing gates) that will need to be opened and closed. Map: • 1:5,000 scale with 2.5m contours. • Drawn by Mike Forrest. • Waterproof size A3 with courses overprinted. • Loose control descriptions will also be available: pictorial for Long, Medium and Short; textual for Junior. Short will also have textual descriptions printed on the map itself. |
