Tis' the season... for Orienteering!

Trying to think of something different to do with your friends and family over the festive season?

Now is the time to try the sport of orienteering!

Orienteering is a challenging outdoor adventure sport that exercises both the mind and the body. The aim is to navigate in sequence between control points marked on a unique orienteering map and decide the best route to complete the course in the quickest time.

We understand that a lot of people might want to take part in your own time and at a time in the day which suits your group.

Whether it is a different area of the country to explore or a leisurely stroll you are after fixed orienteering routes are located across the UK for you try. You simply download a map and just go! This is a great way of exploring local areas either when you are away visiting friends and relatives or making the most of being at home and enjoying some time out in the fresh air whilst even walking the dog!
