Play your part at the White Rose Weekend

Eborienteers (EBOR’s) preparations are well underway for their 2019 White Rose weekend in Scarborough and you could play your part in making it a huge success.

The White Rose weekend is a long-established orienteering and camping weekend, run every year on the August Bank Holiday.

This year, the event takes place in Scarborough on Monday 26 August 2019, with a mix of forest and urban orienteering, as well as night-O, a sprint event and the British Trail-O championships, and mountain bike orienteering! There really is something for everyone.

Every year the White Rose weekend couldn’t take place without the help of many of the volunteers. Helpers at the White Rose weekend come from many clubs, so you don’t have to be a member of EBOR to join in. It doesn’t matter if you’re young or old, an experienced hand or novice helper, there is a role suitable for you.

The White Rose Weekend - held on every August Bank Holiday.

Volunteers can still compete and you receive the added bonus of discounted entry fees. But don’t worry, if you’ve already entered and want to volunteer, you can claim your helper refund via the organiser. If you can help and make this an event to remember, please contact the organiser by email on wrweekend2019@yahoo.com

Further details about the event, including how to enter, are available here.
