Senior Squad Volunteer Support Roles – Physio/Massage Support

British Orienteering is looking to appoint a physio/massage support role to work with the Senior Squad for 2020 at the major International Competitions; the Nokian Tyres World Orienteering Championships and European Championships subject to the events being cancelled.

The role is to support the athletes in the immediate lead up to and the competition itself and they will work together with other team staff to support the athletes to prepare effectively for competitions.

Responsibilities include providing medical advice in line with qualifications held.

For consistency, it is preferred that the position can be filled by the same person across the competitions, however, all offers of support are very welcome and will be considered accordingly.

The roles are expected to take place during the competition dates, however communication via phone and email to British Orienteering and athletes prior and post competition would be required when necessary.

Volunteer Physio Role Description

Costs of travel from the UK to competitions, accommodation and other associated competition costs will be covered by British Orienteering.
