JK's attended by the Johnston family members of Pendle Forest Orienteers.
 

Starting with our first JK in 1971 and our last in 2018 the Johnston family have competed in at least 22 JK’s. In addition, Stan and Verena have also planned at the JK in 1992 at Bigland and Controlled the JK in 1995 at Wass.

Our first JK was in 1971 at Leith Hill, a long way to travel from Cumberland in those days. Verena, Bridget and Caryl made it there, Stan was working!

The following photos are from JK 1973, the first two show Bridget at the training at Loch Ard, Verena was obviously taking it seriously with Candy the dog. The final photo is Bridget in action at South Achray.
