"The Organisers of JK 2011 in Northern Ireland had a bit more action than expected when Linda Pakuls of Guildford Orienteers managed to impale her leg on the sharp stump of a gorse bush.

The stretcher carry out was good natured and Linda’s immaculately painted toenails were highly praised by the rescue team. Linda made a swift recovery but the situation could have been a lot more serious."
