British Orienteering has 'Introduction to Orienteering' e-Learning courses available to study at a time which suits you and at your own pace.  These online courses are perfect for getting up to speed with introducing orienteering into your own setting.

  • Introduction to Orienteering Courses for Secondary Schools
    Today more than ever there is an important need to support students’ understanding and development of how to keep physically active and healthy, as well as providing opportunities for students to be active during the school day through extra-curricular activities. 

    Orienteering is an outdoor physical activity that can be delivered safely in schools, can be delivered Covid-securely and support in the development of a young person’s confidence and the ability to make decisions to maintain an active lifestyle.  

    This course will provide resources and activities to get you started and costs just £30.

  • Introduction to Orienteering course for Primary School Teachers, Outdoor Centres and Youth and Group Leaders
    Designed purposely for you to deliver in your own setting. 

    This online course costs £30 per person and as the Secondary School course provides resources and activities to get you started.
