Last weekend 18 juniors from Talent North met at YMCA Lakeside for their first forest activities.

The training took place on the adjacent slopes of Green Hows & High Dam, which had unfortunately been affected by early storms Arwen & Barra.  Many trees had been brought down, which made the exercises focussing on “Direction”, “Distance” and “Picture” somewhat of a challenge.

The weather wasn’t particularly kind with rain both days, but the juniors remained positive throughout.  Thanks to all the coaches who turned out to support the training.
