Whilst you’re dreaming of this idyll, have a think about what your club could look like this coming year - the Development Conference can surely help you with this vision! 

The nine online sessions throughout the month of January will have something relevant to every club and will focus on four key themes: Changing Perspectives, Creating Engaging Experiences, Strengthening Lifelong Pathways, and Providing Foundations for Success.  

Here are a few sessions in Week 2 which may be of interest: Creating Engaging Experiences will be explored through two sessions - ‘Retaining Beginner Orienteers’ and ‘Supporting club development through the employment of a club development officer’. The other session this week on ‘Access and Permissions – An Ecologist and Landowner’s Perspective’ will help clubs with Providing Foundations for Success.
