In the summer of 2022, the 8th Lakes 5 Days event will take place in the English Lake District, home of some of the country’s most beloved scenery and finest orienteering areas. The event will incorporate five individual regional events between Sunday 7th August and Friday 12th August 2022. Entries are now OPEN. The website is www.lakes5.org.uk and more details will be added in the coming days and weeks.

The following is the current plan, but this could change as the areas are subject to confirmation of permissions.

Sunday 7th August Day 1 High Pike, Caldbeck

Monday 8th August Day 2 Threlkeld Knotts, Threlkeld

Tuesday 9th August Day 3 Grizedale, Satterthwaite

Rest day

Thursday 11th August Day 4 Grizedale, Satterthwaite

Friday 12th August Day 5 Helsington Barrows, Kendal

At least one day in Grizedale will be a middle distance for all courses
