Orienteering is an outdoor physical activity that can be delivered Covid-securely and supports in the development of a young person’s confidence and the ability to make decisions to maintain an active lifestyle.

Introducing Orienteering has been designed to be the first step on the leadership pathway and aims to equip teachers and leaders with the knowledge and confidence to introduce Orienteering within their setting.

Today more than ever there is an important need to support pupils’ understanding and development of how to keep physically active and healthy, as well as providing opportunities for pupils to be active during the school day through extra-curricular activities.
