Latest updates: British Orienteering Championships Weekend (26 - 27 March) - final closing dates

After two years of cancellation and delay, we are finally able to stage the British Championships Weekend 2022 on a large and varied new area near Liphook in Hampshire.

After years of negotiation, we are able to offer competitors an entirely new challenge, with the Long Distance Championships taking place on Golden Valley & Cognor Woods, whilst the Relays uses Iron Hill & Parkgate Rough. These areas contain coppiced woodland, plantation forest, pockets of heathland, and some steep slopes to offer a varied and challenging test of your skills. We have also been able to arrange for one compact and competitor-friendly Arena and Car Parking set up to be used for both days.

If you haven’t entered, then make sure you do so!  The closing date is Sunday 6 March for the Long Distance race. Team Captains need to get  

The Organisers are also pleased to be able to stage two TrailO events, including the British TrailO Championships to make this a very inclusive weekend. Entries for these events need to be made by the closing date of Sunday 20 March 2022.

For those that have already entered, there is updated guidance on the event website regarding Start Time preferences for the Long Distance Championships where your entry form includes a competitor on M/W18E, M/W20E, or M/W21E.
