Parking information:	Pay and Display car park at RH13 9BW (off Mill Straight). 50p up to one hour. £1.50 up to 3 hours. £3.00 all day. There is a height restriction barrier. This is a public car park so please park with consideration for all users of the Country Park. Share lifts it possible - the car park is very tight. Latecomers may need to park on surrounding streets (check for any restrictions).
Dog rules:	Please keep under control. The area is popular with dog walkers.

Description:	Low-key Saturday morning event aimed at local Orienteers and newcomers of all ages, including families. Forms part of the SO autumn league (September-January). 4 courses - Blue & Green for experienced Orienteers (5.1km & 3.4km), Orange & Yellow for newcomers, families & children (2.0km & 1.2km). Turn up and enter on the day - no pre-booking required.

Courses

Course description:	Southwater Country Park is a reclaimed clay pit from historic brick workings. There are several Lakes in the centre of the park, which is now a bowl surrounded by natural woodlands. The woods contain much detail and can be slippery after rain. Headline course lengths will appear quite short, but actual distances are significantly longer due to diversions around the lakes.
