| Parking information: | About 2 miles away from Hightown, pick up red rimmed sings for “Altcar Training Camp”. You will enter Hightown either via North End Lane (from the north) or Moss Lane (from the south) which leads onto Kerslake Way (the only road into Hightown). Drive into Hightown – go over the railway bridge and turn left at the roundabout (post code L38 0AB). After 150 metres take next left – Thistledown Drive & Chelmere Homes (and also Altcar Training Camp). Drive along Thistledown Road with the railway track on your right and new (small) housing estate on your left. After 250 metres arrive at Altcar Training Camp Guard Room. Photo ID required. Follow O signs to car parking. |
