| Parking information: | From Fairfach (just south of Llandeilo), follow Bethlehem Road (signed to Bethlehem) NE for approx. 6km to Bethlehem. Turn right here (O-signed from here) towards Garn Goch Ancient Monument, then 2nd right after 1.2km (ignore first R signed to Garn Goch). Follow this minor road southwards and up for about 1.8km to reach the parking at Garn-wen farm. From Llandarog, follow the A4069 SE for 500m then turn right, signposted to Bethlehem, keep following Bethlehem Rd. for 4.5km. Follow directions as above from Bethlehem |
Details
| Description: | Moorland with plentiful rocky features and amazing iron age hill fort remains. There is some undergrowth and boulderfields covered with moss will likely slow most people down in some sections. The area is quite exposed so please bring suitable clothing including a cag if weather is poor. This is a scheduled ancient monument and it is vital that we do not cause damage to the ruins so please only cross the walls at the obvious crossing points where existing paths cross. |
