Parking information:Kiplin Hall is on the south side of the B6271 about half-way between Northallerton and Richmond. The postcode is DL10 6AT. The grid reference of the entrance is SE 273977 and the What3words reference is ///dozed.crackled.remain. From the entrance, follow signs to "Car Park". Parking will be on hard standing. The only orienteering event signage will be at the Kiplin Hall entrance. Please do not arrive at Kiplin Hall before 2 p.m. and please make sure that your car is out of the car park by 6 p.m. There will be no "key drop" facility at this event. Please make your own arrangements.

Description:Terrain: Extensive parkland with some wooded areas, the Hall's buildings and gardens and a complex orchard area. Shorts may be worn. Note: The Hall grounds are not open to the general public on Thursdays, but there may be some staff working. Map: Paper maps will be available at the event. 1:4,000 scale A4 size. The maps will be printed on waterproof paper. Note: Though it is, in theory, possible to use the map displayed on your smartphone, the advice is to use a paper map. Apart from considerations of size and resolution, smartphone displays don't tend to work very well in bright sunshine! Control descriptions will be will be available at the Start.
