| Parking information: | Follow Brown NT signs to the Carding Mill valley . The Upper car park is beyond the NT visitor centre at the end of the road but isn't very large . If full , parking available in main Carding Mill car park but fills up qickly during holidays and weekends. |
| Dog rules: | According to NT rules dogs should be on leads and on paths as this is an area with sheep and ground nesting birds . |

| Description: | The Long O event provides Four increasingly long Courses across the roof of Shropshire . A specialised Annual event aimed at those who like a longer run but with proper Orienteering courses. Running alongside this will be a Summer Local event with 2 courses for less experienced Orienteers or those who dont quite want the challenge of the Long courses . The Beginners courses are EOD only. |
